Kyle Korver Kyle Korver of the Utah Jazz has established himself as one of the best shooters in the league. In his second season, Kyle led the NBA in 3-pointers made (226), a franchise record for the Sixers. In 2006-07, Kyle led the NBA in free-throw shooting percentage (91.4%) and he currently ranks tenth all-time in three-point field goal percentage (41.0%). In his first season as a member of the Utah Jazz, Kyle had career highs in free-throw percentage (91.7%) and field goal percentage (47.4%).
Prior to his professional career, Kyle starred at Creighton University where he finished fifth all-time in scoring, first in three point shooting, and first in free-throw shooting while leading the Blue Jays to four consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Off the court, he continually finds time to participate in myriad charitable activities, and in 2006 he established the Kyle Korver Foundation as a way to streamline all his charitable efforts and focus on making a positive impact on the lives of under-privileged children.
